Department Definition:
Performance Management and Human Resources Development is a department that focuses on evaluating employee performance and improving their skills through training and career development to enhance overall work efficiency.
Main Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Implement approved training and professional development policies and procedures within the government entity.
- Contribute to the preparation of the annual training plan based on institutional and individual training needs.
- Study and analyze training needs in coordination with various organizational units.
- Coordinate the implementation of internal and external training programs and courses.
- Follow up on employee nomination procedures for training programs and ensure all requirements are met.
- Coordinate with training institutions and approved training service providers.
- Monitor the implementation of training plans and ensure adherence to approved timelines.
- Prepare training and development reports and statistics and submit them to the concerned management.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and measure the impact of training on employee performance.
- Update databases and records related to training and professional development on approved electronic systems.
- Monitor and document employees’ training hours.
- Organize workshops, awareness programs, and developmental initiatives for employees.
- Contribute to the implementation of leadership development programs and talent development initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal and external entities regarding conferences, seminars, and development programs.
- Monitor compliance with scholarship, secondment, and study policies in accordance with approved regulations.
- Prepare official correspondence related to training and professional development.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of institutional training and development policies and procedures.
Skills Description
Skills - Qualification & Experience:
Qualifications and Expereinces :
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 plus years of experience in Human Capital Training and Development
- Experience in training and development or human resources.
- Knowledge of federal government human resources laws and regulations.
Core Competencies:
- Planning and organizational skills.
- Communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to prepare and analyze reports and statistics.
- Managing and implementing training programs.
- Follow-up and time management skills.
- Proficiency in using electronic systems and Microsoft Office programs.
