Department Definition: 

Performance Management and Human Resources Development is a department that focuses on evaluating employee performance and improving their skills through training and career development to enhance overall work efficiency

Main Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Apply approved employee performance management policies and systems within the federal government.
  • Follow up on the implementation of the employee performance cycle in all its stages according to approved timelines.
  • Provide technical support and consultations to employees and direct supervisors regarding performance management.
  • Monitor the preparation of individual objectives and ensure alignment with the entity’s strategic and operational goals.
  • Review performance indicators and ensure they are clear, measurable, and verifiable.
  • Follow up on continuous review meetings between employees and direct supervisors.
  • Prepare and analyze performance reports and statistics related to evaluation results and submit them to the concerned management.
  • Follow up on underperformance cases and contribute to preparing performance improvement and career development plans.
  • Coordinate with organizational units to ensure compliance with the implementation of the performance management system.
  • Conduct awareness workshops and orientation sessions on employee performance management policies and procedures.
  • Follow up on objections and grievances related to performance evaluation results according to approved procedures.
  • Update data and records related to employee performance on approved electronic systems.
  • Ensure the confidentiality, accuracy, and protection of performance evaluation data.
  • Contribute to developing and improving employee performance management procedures and forms.
  • Coordinate with training and development departments to utilize performance results in identifying training and development needs.
  • Prepare official correspondence and periodic reports related to employee performance management.

 

Skills Description

Skills - Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5 plus years of experience in Human Capital Employee Performance Management 
  • Knowledge of human resources laws and regulations within the UAE federal government.
