Job Description

It also made sure that such schools provided high-quality educational environment and owned the most technically advanced tools to be able to graduate generations that could pursue their university education confidently in higher education institutions to fulfil the requirements of labour market. 

The MOE has also provided a smart learning system and high-quality digital platforms, side by side with the continuous development of school curriculums, according to national learning standards, assessment policy that is based on assessing for learning, and highest quality standards that match the best international practices. Various learning tracks, moreover, have been provided to support the capabilities and skills of students and achieve the country's strategy of encouraging the culture of creativity and innovation through providing the students with the skills of the 21st century and motivating them to have new ideas that relate to the reality they live in and foresee the future. This will eventually help in finding radical, sustainable solutions to the major issues, improving competitiveness, and supporting smart government in its attempts to keep pace with global advancements, advance education, and push it to broad horizons of excellence, leadership, and competitiveness.

Department Definition

The Student registration and counseling principal administrative is responsible for maintaining the school’s student records, ensuring that they can be retrieved by authorized entities at appropriate times in accordance with the approved guidelines of the Ministry of Education. The Student registration and counseling principal administrative performs this role by providing, planning, organizing, and managing all records, as well as all registration activities and procedures for parents and students.

Main Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Efficiently process student registrations including data entry through eSIS, allocations procedure, letters to parents and filing of all documents through the system.
  • Manage and maintain the registration and records database of new and current students in compliance with MOE deadlines.
  • Record and submit student data (either through eSIS or manually) to the Vice Principal Administrative Services in compliance with MOE deadlines.
  • Prepares reports, statistical analysis on registration (numbers, trends etc) and to be updated regularly to the Vice Principal Administrative Services.
  • Responds to all communications: telephone, voice mail, and electronic mail; regarding school registration and student records.
  • Ensure admission criteria/arrangements are implemented fairly and promote equity.
  • Follow up with parents on pending registrations or next academic year’s registration.
  • Assist with resolving student disputes related to registrations and escalate to MOE Student Services, as required.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders on records and registrations to facilitate and improve services to students and families.
  • Undertake other duties as directed by the Vice Principal Administrative Service or School Leadership.

Skills Description

Requirements for UAE Nationals:

Educational Qualification: Diploma in Business Administration, Information Technology, Office Management, Human Resources, Office Technology, or Management Information Systems (MIS), or an equivalent qualification.

Minimum 2-year degree

Minimum GPA: Not less than 2.5.

Experience: No previous experience is required.

Skills:

Proficiency in English, preferably with certificates or training courses in the English language.
Computer skills, preferably with certificates or training courses in Information Technology.
Maximum Age: 40 years old.
