Department Definition

Delivering and implementing the Ministry of Education curriculum for Field 1 (Arabic Language and Islamic Education) in compliance with national educational policies, regulations, and applicable standards, while promoting academic excellence aligned with international benchmarks, creating a stimulating learning environment, and contributing to the holistic development of students.

Main Job Duties & Responsibilities

·       Delivering the Ministry of Education curriculum for Arabic Language and Islamic Education in compliance with national educational policies, while promoting academic excellence and holistic student development.

·       Plan and implement annual and term-based instructional plans aligned with curriculum standards.

·       Apply effective and modern teaching strategies to enhance student learning and engagement.

·       Design and administer assessments, analyze student performance, and maintain accurate academic records.

·       Provide academic intervention for struggling students and enrichment programs for gifted and high-achieving learners.

·       Maintain professional and equitable interactions with students and collaborate with counseling staff to support individual learners’ needs.

Requirements for Expatriates:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education (Arabic Language & Islamic Studies)
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
• At least three (3) years of teaching experience for applicants who do not hold a valid teaching license.
• At least two (2) years of teaching experience for applicants who hold a valid teaching license.
• Age must not exceed 55 years.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in relevant educational applications.
• Successful completion of subject-specific assessments and personal interviews conducted by the hiring authority.
• Submission of a valid Academic IELTS score of at least 5.0 or an EmSAT score of at least 1100 (for subjects taught in Arabic for non-native English speakers) within six (6) months from the date of appointment.
• Commitment to obtaining a Teaching Practice License within the first two years from the date of joining.
