Since investing in human capital is the main objective, the UAE has been keen on establishing the Ministry of Education and creating the appropriate environment to build pioneering Emirati schools, in terms of standards, form, and content they provide. It also made sure that such schools provided high-quality educational environment and owned the most technically advanced tools to be able to graduate generations that could pursue their university education confidently in higher education institutions to fulfil the requirements of labour market.
The MOE has also provided a smart learning system and high-quality digital platforms, side by side with the continuous development of school curriculums, according to national learning standards, assessment policy that is based on assessing for learning, and highest quality standards that match the best international practices. Various learning tracks, moreover, have been provided to support the capabilities and skills of students and achieve the country's strategy of encouraging the culture of creativity and innovation through providing the students with the skills of the 21st century and motivating them to have new ideas that relate to the reality they live in and foresee the future. Department Definition
The department aims to provide high quality teaching and learning support to their students to develop industry related skills and competencies. Conduct sound competency based assessment within the business related discipline. Provide administrative, promotional and other support to ensure the effective functioning of the Business department.
Main Job Duties & Responsibilities
Model and support a learner-centered, hands-on classroom environment that promotes learner engagement and participation.
Ensure that students reach the expected age-related outcomes for Business studies.
Gain an understanding of working with Arab youth who will study Business in English.
Create a positive, active, language-rich learning environment.
Support the learning process by identifying needs and guiding students to achieve their learning objectives.
Ensure assessments are delivered according to the assessment strategy and guidelines, in a valid and rigorous manner.
Maintain an accurate record of student achievement and performance.
Create positive and effective relationships with colleagues.
Skills Description
Requirements for Expatriates:
3+ years of full-time teaching experience in schools for expats (after graduation)
2+ years full- time teaching experience in schools if the candidate possesses one of the following that is regarded as a teaching qualification:
Bachelor degree in Business Studies/Commerce/related subjects is essential.
Excellent level of English proficiency (TOEFL iBT Language proficiency test required or an equivalent to it. Expats score of 94-109 required, UAE nationals score of 79-93 required)

Requirements for Emirati Nationals:
No previous teaching experience required
Bachelor degree in Business Studies/Commerce/related subjects is essential.
Minimum GPA of 2.5 for Emirati candidates
Excellent level of English proficiency (TOEFL iBT Language proficiency test required instead of IELTS. UAE nationals score of 79-93 required)
